NCAA Division II

Championships The 2008 NCAA Division II Men’s Basketball Championship game held at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, MA, was one of the most dramatic games in NCAA history, as Barton College (NC), who trailed top seeded, undefeated and defending National Champion Winona State (MN) by seven points with just 45 seconds remaining, rallied to claim their first ever national title behind 10 points in the final 39 seconds from Elite Eight MVP Anthony Atkinson - who scored the game-winning layup as time expired.
